About the Author

Derek Blyth is a writer and a journalist, originally from the UK, who has lived in Belgium for more than 35 years. Formerly editor-in-chief of the Brussels English-language weekly The Bulletin, he has written several books on the Low Countries. He is also the author of The 500 Hidden Secrets of Antwerp, and Brussels, and Hidden Belgium. His bestselling books are praised for showing people a side of Belgium they never knew existed.
