Fabienne Verdier: The Song of Stars – Musee Unterlinden, France

The exhibition at the Musée Unterlinden dedicated to Fabienne Verdier in the fall of 2022 is a tailor-made project, in line with the museum’s collections, its architecture and with the current events of the Covid-19 pandemic that we have been through.
The installation proposed by Fabienne Verdier is also a plastic response to the wish of the architects Herzog & de Meuron to make the Unterlinden Museum, among others, a place of
contemplation and meditation in the heart of the city of Colmar.

The exhibition project will take place at the Musée Unterlinden, in three emblematic spaces : thetemporary exhibition room (new building Ackerhof), the Petite Maison (Gallery) and in the graphic arts cabinets of the Gallery, which will present the progression of his work, from his research on the darkness of night to that on the light of the stars.
Throughout the tour, a selection of works by Fabienne Verdier will also recall those of the ancient and modern collections of the Musée Unterlinden.
